“Over the past few years I have worked with Wendy on a number of highly contentious employment disputes and litigated matters. I have always found her to be completely professional, prepared and able to articulate her employer's position with ease and clarity. She is unflappable in the face of direct challenge and is firm, without being incendiary, when presenting her position. Her knowledge in the area of Human Resources and employment law is quite impressive. I highly recommend Wendy and I strongly believe that she would be an asset to any organization seeking assistance in human resources issues.”
William Betley, Esq., Partner at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud and Romo
“Wendy is the ultimate Human Resources professional with a passion to stay abreast of the laws, regulations and practices in the HR field. While at Community Service Programs, she energetically led the development of a fledgling HR department to become a fully functioning unit meeting the needs of both management and employees. Wendy is a widely respected expert in all types of HR issues and while at Community Service Programs she effectively handled recruiting, compensation plans, employee handbook development, benefits selection and administration, employee reviews and counseling, and advising management on employment issues. Her broad range of experience makes her an ideal human resources consultant.”
Carol Thompson, Finance Director, Community Services Programs
“Wendy takes ownership of HR projects from start to finish. In HR, the details are everything, from the documentation, adherence to laws and regulations, the follow-up and follow-through.
When our company doubled in size in 2004, I hired Wendy and she jumped in with both feet to take on the challenge of our new Western Region. Since our new region included California, her expertise in California law was priceless. If Wendy takes on any HR project, such as an employee lawsuit, EEO claim, worker's comp investigation, etc., I know it gets done, and done RIGHT.”
Kirsten Shehee, SPHR, Director of Human Resources, MDBS
“I had the pleasure of working with Wendy for about 3 years. She is a top notch HR professional with strong work ethic and integrity. Wendy's knowledge of California law, attention to detail and mentoring ability have been the best I have ever worked with. Wendy was always available as a go-to person for knowledge, advice, and guidance. She would be a great asset to any organization”
Paul Galvan, Southwest Region Manager
“I have worked with Wendy on and off over the last 7 years. Wendy's ability to organize and categorize essential details of any HR investigation, are unquestionable. Her analytical reasoning, attention to detail and constant professionalism are what makes working with her so refreshing. When interviewing company employees she has always displayed a genuine interest in what they were communicating to her, and remained committed to keeping the employee and the company's best interest at hand. Any opportunity to work with Wendy again in the future, would be most welcomed. An absolute recommendation.”
Nikki Wright, District Manager
“Wendy is an analytical Human Resources professional who delivers solid problem-solving and proactive strategy. Wendy's obviously genuine interest in HR means that she is constantly educating herself and staying abreast of legal changes and best practices, and her level of knowledge is incredible. Whenever I run into Wendy at a training or function, she is a dynamic force - asking astute and intuitive questions, happily absorbing every piece of new information, and connecting with many other professionals who clearly respect her. As a leader and manager Wendy excels at sharing this knowledge and passion for learning with her staff when possible; in fact, without her, I likely would not have become the HR geek that I am today (reading labor law cases for fun, etc.). The mentorship I received from Wendy is something I still value, and I am happy to recommend Wendy McEnulty today.”
Gina Lance, Human Resources Manager
“Wendy is a detail oriented senior professional in human resources. I have known her for about 7 years and found her to be a skilled HR professional. Wendy can manage a variety of different personalities and situations which is a great asset as an HR practitioner. I believe that anyone that hires Wendy to handle any HR work will not regret it.”
Jacquelyn Thorp, SPHR, PHRca, MSHR, CHRO & CEO
“I first met Wendy McEnulty across the bargaining table. She was the most professional, results-oriented advocate I had encountered in that context, well, ever! I can recommend her without reservation for her knowledge, professionalism and her ability to work effectively in difficult situations. I would welcome the opportunity to work with her again."
Helen Parker, SPHR, Principal
“Over the years, I have enjoyed the privilege of working with many exceptional business people. Wendy McEnulty is one of those standout professionals. Her extensive human resource and employee relations experience, coupled with her attention to detail, accessibility and professionalism contribute to her continued success and effectiveness in her field.”
Mary Davis, Officer/Business Owner
“Wendy McEnulty was the Manager of Human Resources and Risk Management at Medieval Times when I worked with her. We had developed a project for the implementation of a new web-based human resource software application. Our goal was to consolidate all of Medieval Times’ disparate software applications into one system. Wendy was very thorough, detail oriented and an excellent leader. The project was a success and she was a pleasure to work with.”
Rich Courshon, Client Executive
“I sat across the table from Wendy during plenty of grievance meetings and while she maintained a “nerves of steel” demeanor and was very effective in representing her clients, she also was a reasonable and professional person to work with, very refreshing in a union representative and in an inherently confrontational work setting.”
Beverly Azizi, Human Resources Consultant
